I'm Back (But not in Black)

Haven't posted in a while, but I think I'm going to try to start blogging again. I've watched quite a few movies lately and I'll just try to summarize some of them quickly.

Sin City - Awesome, with a dash of Goretastic
Fight Club - Smart portrayal of modern society
The Legend of the Drunken Master - Jackie Chan is legendary, so is this movie
Reservoir Dogs - Tarantino-ish. More approachable than Pulp Fiction, but not as good.
Megamind - Fun. A lot of fun.

I'm gonna see Harry Potter sometime this week. I kind of feel like writing some sort of piece on what I like about Harry Potter, and what it means to me.

That's all for now

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

From Dusk Till Dawn stars Quentin Tarantino as an actor. That’s interesting because in a movie that starts out with two bank robbers trying to reach Mexico while threatening and killing massive numbers of people and throwing out lines of memorable dialogue almost as often as they throw off lead rounds of death, you’d think Tarantino must be directing. At least, you would until the vampires show up.

Okay, so here's what this is all about. Most of the time, the reason I see a movie is because an actor I like is in it, or I like the director, or someone cool told me it was awesome, etc. I don't usually just decide to see a movie based on a trailer. So I took a look at twenty some trailers of movies that I want to see (but haven't seen yet), and then made a list of the ten that I would choose to see based JUST on the trailer. Here we go in order:
